Excellent productwent through a few other cases before sticking with this one. It's the only one that I found that lets you dock on the official docking/charger station whilst still protecting you new love. well made and constructed, adds a little extra weight to the ipad, in my opionion makes it easier to handle then having the ipad naked. You still need a screen protector however. |

What is the CandyShell case for iPad made of?
The seamless mix of materials is what makes CandyShell so unique and protective. A hard plastic “candy” shell coats and strengthens the soft & rubbery interior lining, raised bezel, and button covers.
What is up with that docking thing on the back?
You’d use the flip-back panel with a dock connector cable, iPad dock or iPad keyboard dock. It lets you dock and charge without removing your iPad case. It also keeps the port protected when not in use. Please do not attempt to use the flip-back panel as a stand or “foot” on it’s own, it is for use only in conjunction with a standing dock.
Is the screen protected?
The raised, rubberized bezel helps protect your screen from coming in contact with other surfaces that might scratch it. If you’d like a screen film that protects your entire screen, our totally awesome ShieldView screen films for iPad are available here.
Usage
Slide right (button) side of iPad into the CandyShell case first, then gently snap the other edges of the case around the edge of the screen. To use with dock connector cable, iPad dock or keyboard dock, pull open the flip-back panel. Please do not attempt to use flip-back panel as a stand or “foot”. To remove the CandyShell iPad case, pull open the flip-back panel at the bottom, and then work off the bottom corners. From the bottom up, pull your iPad out of the top corners of the CandyShell.
