Hi Nottle,

I followed the instructions from the various contributors to this discussion thread - http://www.insanelymac.com/lofiversion/index.php/t18035.html. The driver used is the Ralink RT2500 Driver.

My SD30G2 with Nvidia 8500GT is running fine with QE on 10.5.3 or 10.5.4. No hacking required for the 8500GT. I am using NVkush.kext and NVCAP of <04000000 00000900 06000000 00000000 00000000> to enable DVI support.

Hi,
I have a SD30G2 Plus hack too.....had lots of problems with graphics card variants (7300LE and GT)- especially after upgrading to 10.5.3.. I am now looking for a card that doesn't lose QE support when upgrading. Did you need to hack your 8500GT at all? What output is your power supply? I'd really like to hear your experiences on this.
Thanks.

Yes. And my wish is resolution 1024x768 instead of that pointless 1024x600. Some applications were written with minimum required 1024x768 and that ain't gonna be changed. Especially those are not demanding applications and they could fit UMPC's perfectly. I do not want yet another screen from portable DVD player as UMPC is not neccessarily DVD player (well I do not expect to have DVD player built-in, but if it has than it would be nice).
I care less if it is fancy SSD or disk and anything above10-20GB is okay as long as we have few USB ports to connect external drives.
