The Raspberry Pi is taking the geek-world by storm at the moment, providing a credit card sized computer for just £20-30. It has been brought out to try and get people into development again, and it is looking to break into the world of education, although the first batch of 10,000 Model B units look certain to be snapped up by tech enthusiasts from all over the globe.
Model B of the Raspberry Pi is the slightly more expensive version, approximately £5 more, and has an Ethernet port allowing you to connect it to the Internet.
Because of this, we are planning on launching a range of Raspberry Pi accessories for all of those hungry to improve their Raspberry Pi. We appreciate that most people will be looking for a Raspberry Pi case – we are trying to source them but for the meantime we do not have anything to shout about in this area.
What we do have to shout about is, although not that exciting, some Raspberry Pi cables that will get your Pi up and running – after all, it doesn’t come with ANYTHING to power it, or connect it to a display unit. The cables are very much a necessity.
