An Asus laptop running Mac OS X? Is it possible to even install Mac OS X on an Asus laptop? Yes, it can be done. Mac OS X can run on Asus laptops with some tweaking. Not all the hardware devices will work properly, but you definitely can run Mac OS X on some Asus laptops.

I have been running Mac OS X Leopard on my Shuttle SD30G2 PC for over a month. The Mac OS X installation was done using the Leopard Kalyway 10.5.2 installer. It was updated to 10.5.3 using Kalyway 10.5.3 Combo Update. Today, the Shuttle has been updated to Mac OS X 10.5.4 using Mac OS X Software Update.
The update went smoothly and my Shuttle SD30G2 Hackintosh is now purring with Mac OS X 10.5.4.
