Mac OS X 10.5.4 Hackintosh Update Report
July 2, 2008 – 4:30 pmI have been running Mac OS X Leopard on my Shuttle SD30G2 PC for over a month. The Mac OS X installation was done using the Leopard Kalyway 10.5.2 installer. It was updated to 10.5.3 using Kalyway 10.5.3 Combo Update. Today, the Shuttle has been updated to Mac OS X 10.5.4 using Mac OS X Software Update.
The update went smoothly and my Shuttle SD30G2 Hackintosh is now purring with Mac OS X 10.5.4.

Let me get this right, you ran the 10.5.4 Software Update from Apple, and it worked? Are you using a Vanilla kernel?

Yes, I’m using the Vanilla Kernel on my hackintosh. I backed up my installation using Time Machine, so if the Software Update failed, I still have my backups.
